Free Fishing Weekend: June 7 - 8, 2014
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' Free Outdoor Fun Weekend is June 7-8. Residents and visitors can fish, hike or bike state trails, and ride public ATV trails for free. New this year, visitors to state parks and forests will enjoy not one but two days of free admission. Dozens of free fishing clinics will be hosted around the state by conservation groups and others to promote the sport. Free loaner equipment is available at 50 locations, including state parks, DNR offices, and partner organizations. Fishing rules such as limits and species still apply.
