Fishing Retreat

White Sand Lake is the kind of lake made famous because of its deep, clear and rocky bottom, it typifies the Northwoods. The lake contains good numbers of walleye, some muskies (with the potential for a trophy), smallmouth bass and panfish. Couple that with some great scenery, and what you‚ve got is a great lake.

The lake warms slowly because of its clarity, size and depth. It is a primarily a rock-related lake, only a few areas with weedbeds of any size. Off the Dillman’s Point is a grass bed that holds walleyes, and the gravel bar just north of that point has a good weed edge that should be fished!

Dillman’s has their own private boat launch which guests are able to use free of charge. On premise is also a covered marina and 2 additional piers for boat docking. Gas is also available for sale to guests.

As of March 2019, the last five times White Sand Lake was stocked with muskellunge and walleye fingerlings was 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010.
