David R. Becker
The Most Important Watercolor Workshop

Sep 18 - Sep 23

4 Teaching Days

Description

Returning for the 10th year in 2022

David will be teaching you watercolor from beginning to end; starting with teaching you how to take total control of the watercolor medium, leading to using that control of the medium to create well-composed watercolors. Subject matter will be changing daily with photo reference supplied in the morning and afternoon. David’s teaching method takes all students on a paint-a-long style of teaching while trying a variety of different surfaces and techniques. This class is designed to benefit all levels of painters. Teaching students to conquer the medium of watercolor is David’s goal and he takes great pride in making sure every student leaves with the ability to control the paint while trying all sorts of new materials.

2022 COVID Precautions

For the 2022 season, but all artists should be prepared to abide by the following measures while attending workshops, with the understanding that protocols may change.

  1. Participants must fill out a quick health questionnaire to make sure they do not exhibit any symptoms.
  2. Masks are required to be worn while in classrooms and shared spaces.
  3. Participants must also wash hands or use hand sanitizer at the beginning of each class and often during class sessions.
  4. Participants are required to stay 6 feet apart for social distancing protocols.

A floor plan per each of our three studios has been created to ensure that the artist tables and lecture area will allow people to socially distance themselves a minimum of 3 feet.  In lieu of crowding around the artist during demos, a desktop camera system and large format digital TV screens have been installed in each of the studios to allow students a close up view of demos.
