"The resort is a beautiful inspirational place to rest, relax and paint together. My morning painting demos are backed up with lots of verbal insight into how and why I make certain artistic decisions while afternoons are devoted to one-on one time with each artists.", Joyce Hicks says.
This Festival of the Arts kicks off the 2013 May to October season. There are still scholarships available for the 3, 4 and 5 day teaching workshops. The workshops have been conducted in northern Wisconsin and exotic ports of call for the last 36 years. Learn more about the 2013 schedule and scholarships...
During November and December, 2013 Dillman's Creative Arts will be hosting two workshops in Cuba with very popular water media/collage Californian artist Bob Burridge. At this time travel to Cuba's unique Caribbean vacation destination is limited to such criteria as educational, religious and cultural travel. We are fortunate to be able to offer these exceptional 11 day workshops in Cuba. Space is still available.
Dillman's workshop instructor, Tom Lynch, internationally known Illinois watercolorist, helps celebrate 35 completed years of workshops by presenting his original watercolor. Dillman's Creative Art director, Dennis Roberton, Lac du Flambeau, also gives these lucky students complimentary accommodations at Dillman's Bay Resort as part of the celebration that 10,000 students have studied at Dillman's.
To celebrate the 10,000 students, at this long standing educational foundation, a drawing was held to award a week workshop accommodation package at Dillman's Bay Resort, Lac Du Flam beau (valued at $360) to Ellen Herman, Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Ellen also has a home in the area, as many Day Students do, so she elected to take the value on a shopping spree in the Dillman's Art Gift Store.
