Finding Your Subject in Any Media

August 25-31, 2019 (Five Teaching Days)

Join artist and creativity coach Helen Klebesadel in this mixed media creativity workshop for all levels of artists. This workshop is designed for artists with some knowledge and skill in their preferred mediums who are interested in focusing in on or expanding the content and subject matter in their own work to make it authentically and uniquely their own. Plan to build on what you already know for the best possible effects while also exploring creative ways to develop artworks that reflect your personal interests and experience. Expand your creative process and subject matter through a series of individualized exercises designed to help you create stronger artworks.

Have you honed your technical skills in your chosen media, but now wonder how to put them to work to make your own personal art? Are you interested in being more effective at what you are already doing? Are you interested in discovering new motivation and your own unique subject matter for your artwork? In this workshop, you will explore creative mixed media exercises that focus on creative process to give you tips and strategies for expanding your artwork to find you own authentic voice, content, and approach as an artist, and have lots of fun doing it.
