Mid-Winter Festival of Artists In South Florida Hosted by
Ocean Reef Art League
and
Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation
Ocean Reef Art League, Key Largo, Fl and Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation (DCAF) of Lac du Flambeau, WI (350 miles north of Chicago’s downtown) will join together to offer a Fun and Free Evening of art filled entertainment on January 22, 2010 at the Ocean Reef Art League. Instructors from Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation will be providing demonstrations and slide shows plus their art will be for sale. Enjoy the complimentary hospitality table. Invite your friends and art league members to car pool with you. How do Floridians stay cool during the three hot and hotter seasons? You are invited to travel north to enjoy the green and autumn color at northern Wisconsin’s historic resort, Dillman’s Bay Resort in Lac du Flambeau. The spring is a refreshingly cool season to vacation on the shores of White Sand Lake. You may study in the company of like-minded artists, who soon become long time friends and under the guidance of internationally known instructors of watercolor, oil, acrylic, photography, colored pencil, pastel, collage, carving and decorative arts. This will be the 33rd year Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation has offered 3, 4 and 5 day workshops all on the lakeside resort location in Wisconsin plus exciting ports of call abroad. On Friday, January 22, some of the finest instructors will be coming to south Florida for this fun evening of art. Friday’s Wisconsin Mid Winter Festival of the Artists in South Florida will start at 4:00 and demonstrations will run until 7:00PM. Register for hourly door prizes. She will provide you with gate clearance when you RSVP prior to Wednesday January 20, 2010. Ongoing discussions with artists and instructors can be mixed in with the demonstrations. You may view original paintings, reproductions, and slide shows of 2010 Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation instructors. In addition there is a reduced rate for the northern Wisconsin workshop for those who register on site. For the PAL (Participant at Large) there will be information about the full service amenities to include, biking tours, fishing, and area attractions. Art work will be available for sale.
