Dillman's, and the art community, have lost a dear friend. Carol "Blondie" Skorey, 58, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, in her St. Germain, WI home surrounded by family.
All of us at Dillman's feel so fortunate to have gotten to known Blondie over the last 7 years. She was an amazing artist, woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her contagious smile and laughter would light up a room. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by her fantastic and joyful personality.
We will sincerely miss Blondie in our lives and being with us for workshops. She was a very talented artist who found joy and peace while creating her paintings. She took over 20 workshops at Dillman's and it was so fun to watch her learn the skills from so many different instructors, and other students, and apply them to her work.
Please keep Blondie's family in your thoughts.
