(Four Teaching Days)
Dramatic Watercolor Landscapes
New to Dillman’s
www.tomlindenart.com
Are you timid and creating watercolors that are weak in color or just lacking that "Wow" factor? Let Tom teach you his methods and techniques for adding excitement to your watercolors. During the morning, Tom will conduct exercises and demonstrate techniques for depicting landscape elements such as trees, skies and water. By the afternoon, you may paint from your own reference photographs or from provided references. You should be able to complete (or nearly complete) a small painting each day. Bring unfinished or "failed" works to apply trouble shooting strategies that will add pizzazz to your work.
Tom Linden grew up in suburban Chicago, Illinois and now resides in Rockford, Illinois. Painting the landscape allows Tom to explore the effects of light and weather while yielding to his love of the outdoors. Bring your art supplies, reference material (photographs and sketches), sense of humor, and prepare to have fun.
