Ron is an internationally known tutor, author of 26 books and many videos, and is the European editor for International Artist Magazine and Pastel International Magazine. He is famed for his use of the hake brush. Ron Ranson is an English artist, teacher and author who divides his time between the west and east coasts of the US. Workshops are held at his home in Oregon, and at his second studio in Wintergreen, Virginia . He is one of the world's most traveled watercolor teachers, giving workshops to students on every continent for many years. Ron is an artist of great patience and good English humor! Ron's twenty-five books are translated and sold worldwide. Contributing to many, many art magazines, he was the first editor of the prestigious publication, The International Artist. Workshop ItinerarySunday 5/13 *6 nights’ accommodations are included in this workshop Day students are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception and Farewell Reception (included in your package). You are also invited to join the class dinners (additional fee). PAL’s (Participants at large) can vacation at Dillman’s for $50 per night for accommodations. Costs for box lunches and dinners are additional.

Painting watercolor with freedom and freshness, Ron's objective is to liberate the artist from tight, detailed habits. His classes are always full of fun and laughter. Ron will do lots of demos and one-on-one teaching and is famous worldwide for being a tireless and inspirational teacher.
