(Four Teaching Days)
Nature: Inside & Out
New to Dillman’s
www.trauschfinearts.com
Fall is a wonderful season to experience the color in nature. There will be two days of plein air painting – broken down into manageable steps. We will work on thumbnail studies, grasping the essence of what we are painting, and eliminating what’s not necessary. We will focus on seeing and painting the colors that nature presents and adding embellishments to enrich our work. The two days in the studio will consist of translating our photos or field studies into larger finished works that still retain the freshness of outdoor painting. Learn how not to overwork a painting, and in all work, we will clearly be able to state the goal of the painting. You can work in either oil or watercolor with exercises, demos, and plenty of personal instruction.

Studio: Something for all levels.
