Bob & Kate Burridge     August 27, 2010 (One Teaching Day)
Art Marketing for the Busy Artist!

Kate and Bob Burridge 1-day Workshop on Friday, 8/27

"...artists who want to sell their art find it increasingly difficult to survive in the maze of bureaucracy built by galleries, private dealers, fair, competitions and book publishers. Money for the arts has gone more and more into the distribution of art and marketing of art while money for artists has decreased."
- F.B. Gable, Temple University, review in Art Matters

"In the United States today, 230,000 individuals who identify themselves as artists, annually produce roughly 8 million works of art. It is next to impossible to estimate the billions of art dollars which change hands each year in the US, but the manner of distribution and how to get in with the "selling artists" is a matter of knowing how."
- S.E. Weil, co-author of Art Law
