Watercolor... Design and Color in Creative Realism

Judi BettsWatercolor with its directness, vibrant color and subtle nuances, requires the joy of drawing as well as technical understanding. Problems in visual perception and abstract “magical shapes” will be offered. You will learn to simplify designs, use color and light in exciting ways, and capture mood and emotion. Innovative approaches to watercolor and underpainting will be explored using traditional and contemporary methods. Daily demos and challenges provide fun and confidence in painting. Self-expression is encouraged.
