Artist in the Garden

Glenn Spevacek Creating a garden, designing a container planting, landscaping your yard; all are artistic pursuits that are as involved and expressive as any painting, prose or drama. Through this unique offering, Glenn will provide insights on designing with plants providing you the tools to create living expressions of your style and personality. Using captivating graphics and photography gleaned for over 30 years of travels to over 60 public gardens plus his training as a graphic artist, Glenn will help you develop the skills that will enable you to become true artists in the garden. We will also create a container garden masterpiece, develop a plan for your “outdoor living space” and visit one of the area’s outstanding garden centers for an intimate look at its diverse palette of plants and materials.

Glenn Spevacek is an art education graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison who has spent most of his professional career in the field of advertising graphics.
