New to Dillman's
This 2 day workshop will cover different lessons then the preceding 5 day workshop being taught at Dillman’s. Feel free to add on these 2 additional days. If your schedule doesn’t allow for you to be gone for a week, enjoy this fantastic weekend experience. You will learn how to make quick decisions and simplify for the most impact. We will discuss color relationships, values, shapes, brushstrokes & details. Students are asked to paint again during the afternoon session so it is suggested to work no larger than 12x16. With individual instruction and at least two daily demonstrations, Alvaro Castagnet brings a wealth of knowledge to this highly effective & fun mentoring workshop. Come join Alvaro, enjoy his daily demonstrations, individual assistance and group critiques. ITINERARY Saturday, 9/11 Sunday, 9/12 Studio: Something for all levels - BEGINNERS WELCOME. Alvaro offers a partial tuition scholarship.
Day students are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception and Farewell Reception (included in your package). You are also invited to join the class for breakfasts and dinners (additional fee). PAL’s (Participants at large) can vacation at Dillman’s
for $300, includes accommodations. Costs for breakfasts, dinners and receptions
are additional.

This workshop emphasizes the use of design and color to interpret any chosen subject.
Each day starts with a morning demonstration and lecture. The demos will focus on bold composition.
