Watercolor: Bright and Luminous Gardens & Landscapes
Returning
for the 15th year
Learn how to capture the essence of beautiful gardens and landscapes with loose under washes and impressionistic brush strokes. Each day will start with a demo of subject matter and cover design, techniques and color harmony. Examples of how to keep your paintings transparent and loose will be discussed and implemented. The techniques in “Lifting Off” and “Reintroducing Color” will be used to create dramatic landscapes. We will do plein air painting, giving you the chance to experience the subtleties of color and the essence of the landscape. Days end with a critique of the day’s work and suggestions on how to improve or finish your painting.
