Layers of Design in Watermedia
Returning for the 2nd year
www.lindabaker.biz
Explore the mystery of watermedia through a strong
design approach. Design is that elusive quality that converts a painting into a potential award winner. Whether you paint realistic or abstract, and regardless of level, design and composition give you options and the confidence to bring your artwork to the next level. Make more interesting backgrounds and powerful focal points through pouring, scumbling, rich wet into wet, and other dramatic techniques. Daily fun-filled demos, slide shows, as well as ‘one on one’ personal
consultations. Linda’s experience and warmth ensures an interesting and exciting class.
As a professional watercolor artist, Linda is intrigued by the gentle translucence of nature. She considers her work to be a contemporary approach to traditional subject matter. Striving to simplify the complicated while seeing the unique in the ordinary, she captures the essence of gentle scenes with bold harmonious strokes.
Studio: Something for all levels.
