Family Art Week     August 12 – 18, 2007 (Five Teaching Days)
Reconnect with your Family through Art making

Take a group of families, add practicing artists working in a range of media, and place it all in the midst of Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwoods and you have the ideal setting to foster family togetherness. Family Art Week at Dillman’s Bay Resort in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin is that setting.

Family Art Week combines professional-quality art instruction for all ages with the relaxed setting and activities of a traditional summer camp. A typical workshop day begins at 9am and continues until 1pm. After the class vacationers are free to swim, hike, bike, canoe, enjoy a complimentary pontoon ride, and visit local Native American sites. The classes are offered for 5 days, Monday – Friday. Meals are not provided. There is a Sunday 5pm Welcome Reception and a Friday 12:30pm Gala Send Off. In the evening artists are free to use the studios to work on projects, without instruction, which may be shown and viewed at the Gala held on Friday.

Family Art Week 2007 includes a choice of one of three workshops for five half day classes and two receptions. Some supplies are provided. Some classes have limited enrollment; classes will be filled
as reservations are received. For accommodations please contact Dillman’s Bay Resort by phone at 715-588-3143 or email vacations@dillmans.com immediately. Space is filling up fast!
