Color and Design
– Acrylic on Paper and Canvas
Returning
for the 8th year
The primary focus of Carrie’s “Fluid Acrylic”
intermediate workshop will be to explore the full
potential of acrylic paint as a transparent,
translucent, opaque water medium. Emphasis will be
working with color families in order for participants
to obtain unity and harmony in their work. The
student will be encouraged to explore their own
interest in either realistic or abstract forms.
Originality and creativity are most important. The
workshop will include demos, individual help and
critiques. Participants should bring landscape
drawings or photos which will serve as a base for a
design approach and develop individually.
