Watercolor – Cascades and Creeks Returning for the 2nd year
Join Kathy for a fall watercolor experience. It is a beautiful time of year to be in
Northern Wisconsin, especially since this is where Kathy lived and taught for over 20
years. Students will venture out, traveling to the local waterfalls and streams, taking
photos to paint from during the workshop. Kathy will be teaching techniques in throwing
paint, basic watercolor concepts and skills to improve your painting. There will also be
time devoted on how to finish a painting. Kathy shares her vast knowledge about this
magical media, which has resulted in a demand for her own paintings and enabled her
students to win prizes with their own artwork. You will love the easy-going and encouraging
way about Kathy – “talented, sharing, caring and a great teacher” are
words that describe this knowledgeable artist. In Kathy’s class she will use her
personal insights on how to teach watercolor, so that the student can reach their goals
more quickly, without frustration.
