| Main Lodge
You drive your car up to the nostalgic Northwoods Main Lodge to register for your long awaited vacation, retreat or workshop experience. In the lobby Denny or Sue Robertson, Todd or Stephanie Skotterud, our welcoming family, greet and register you. A resort map will familiarize you with the many recreational amenities of the 15 acre peninsula. Let us show you where the 6 beaches are located, where you may pick up the complimentary canoes, kayaks, paddleboat or sailboat. In the Main Lodge you may make arrangements for marina reservations, golfing tee times, massage therapy, meal reservations in the lakeside café or with area restaurants, weekly complimentary pontoon ride, free fishing seminar, s’more roast, and piñata break. Your family reunion might like to confirm group photograph time, reserve the picnic area, make meal catering plans, block out pontoon time, reserve live theatre tickets, order additional speed boats or wave runners from area marina, pick up bags of ice or attend to any detail which will make your special time run smoothly. Let us help you. You may like to consider all these choices while sipping complimentary coffee or your favorite beverage from the Sand Bar while sitting on the surrounding deck, which offers breathtaking lake views of the seasonal change. If it is nippy relax around the cozy fireplace. Browse through the gift shop and lending library with video selections. Take a moment to visit the lower level of the lodge, where Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation hosts it's classes, along with email station, public phone, pop machine, restrooms, and washer/dryer. Stop at the nearby Round House, recreation room, which offers ping pong, TV/VCR a good gathering place for all ages. A dozen complimentary bikes are found here. Three new spacious Lodge accommodations were created, for the 2003 season, utilizing part of the desirable area in the Main Lodge. The Main Lodge had been completely rebuilt in 1993, please view Main Lodge floor plans. Bayview Lodge and Northern Lodge are adjoining and may be rented as one unit or separately. Badger Lodge is on the lower level.
