2011 Fishing Regulations for White Sand Lake

White Sand Lake, Lac du Flambeau, Vilas County
(T41N R5E S27)

White Sand Lake is located on the Lac du Flambeau Indian reservation. Because of this, we have special size and bag limits.

Wisconsin residents and non-residents over the age of 16 do need a fishing license to fish on all waters in the state of Wisconsin.

Walleye:
There is a bag limit of three and a minimum length limit of 18" for walleye.

Muskellunge:
There is a minimum length of 40". This is true on all LDF reservation lakes.

Northern Pike:
There is no size limit, but a bag limit of 5 northern.

Small and Large Mouth Bass:
In 2011 the bass season opens on the 3rd Saturday in June. The minimum length is 14" and a bag limit of 5 per day.

Motor trolling while fishing on White Sand Lake is NOT allowed.
